New Zealand need 136 runs to win from 43 overs at 3.16 runs per over.

Time for the run-chase!
Bangladesh: 174 all out (48.3 overs)
New Zealand need 175 to win at 3.60 runs per over
Great bowling performance from New Zealand with Oram, Styris and Bond again doing the job. The Bangladeshi openers looked good albeit a bit slow but their middle-order really fluffed it. The injury to Mason will be a worry for the Black Caps and Rafique's lower-order vigil is a big plus for the Bangladeshis. NZ should take this at a canter... no shocks here surely. Stick around for the chase.
Over 48.3: Bangladesh 174/10 (RR: 3.58): Rafique 30* (36)
WICKET
S Rasel b Oram 10 (18)
A single, a dot and then Oram gets his third wicket of the day as a yorker knocks over the stumps of Rasel, bringing to and end the number 11's decent stint with the bat. Rafique stays not out on 30 and will go no further.
Over 48: Vettori's spell is done as he finishes the day wicket-less. Perhaps he can chip in with the bat a bit later, doubt Bangladesh will get that far down the Black Caps' batting-order though. Still very nice batting here, showing the top-order that they've gone and wasted some good batting conditions.
Bangladesh 170/9 (RR: 3.61): Rasel 10* (16), Rafique 29* (35)
Over 47: Well well well, the tail is wagging. Oram slips up with a wide and Rasel shows his mettle with the bat collecting some more singles. Rafique does his level best to reach the ropes and beyond but can only get ones and twos. Nice going from these tail-enders, playing giant Oram very well.
Bangladesh 170/9 (RR: 3.61): Rasel 9* (13), Rafique 27* (32)
Oram is into the attack now.
Over 46: These two won't go down without a fight and pick Vettori off for five runs, determined to bat out their full 50 overs.
Bangladesh 164/9 (RR: 3.56): Rasel 7* (10), Rafique 24* (29)
Vettori is back into the attack now.
Over 45: McCullum is standing up to the wicket and Rasel gets a lucky edge past him - it's four. The tail-ender gets a single and then Rafique farms the strike nicely with a single of his own to keep the strike. Styris is done for the day and finishes with a four-fer.
Bangladesh 159/9 (RR: 3.53): Rasel 6* (8), Rafique 22* (25)
Over 44: Rafique uses the pace of Bond to guide the ball over the slip area for four. He and Rasel get a single single each and that's the end of Bond'sallotted overs. Two for 15 - Wow! That's why he is the best in the world. He has eight wickets in World Cup 2007 thus far. Rafique looking really good out there and certainly desereves a berth higher in the order.
Bangladesh 153/9 (RR: 3.47): Rasel 1* (3), Rafique 21* (24)
Over 43: Rafique couldn't care for the wickets falling around him as he finishes off the over with another mighty six over mid-wicket on the slog-sweep. He then gets a single and Rasel survives the rest of the over. Bangladesh have lost six wickets in the last 38 balls.
Bangladesh 147/9 (RR: 3.33): Rasel 0* (1), Rafique 17* (21)
Syed Rasel is the newest batsman.

Razzak takes one 'sighter' to get bat on ball and the next he decides he can smash out of the ground. He can't. It's badly mis-timed and Gillespie takes an easy catch at mid-off.
Abdur Razzak is the new batsman.

M Mortaza b Styris 2 (16)
Styris gets another batsman to chop one onto his stumps as he continues to nip it back off the seam. Mortaza's stay out in the middle short and sweet.
Over 42: Bond is bowling a couple of slower ones and Rafique spots at least one of them and casts it over mid-off for two. The rest of the over Mortaza is a tad more circumspect as the pace of Bond wins that little battle.
Bangladesh 140/7 (RR: 3.33): Mortaza 2* (15), Rafique 10* (18)
Over 41: Bang! Rafique lofts one over the long-off fence for the first isix of the innings. Bowler Styris is amazed at the stroke as he watches it sail over the ropes and decides to pitch it a bit shorter for the remainder of the over... good thinking as only one more run comes off the over.
Bangladesh 138/7 (RR: 3.36): Mortaza 2* (15), Rafique 8* (12)
Over 40: Bond fails to add to his wicket tally but if he is kept on will surely get at least one more. One single each off the over for Mortaza and Rafique with the latter getting off the mark.
Bangladesh 131/7 (RR: 3.27): Mortaza 2* (13), Rafique 1* (8)
Over 39: Wicket maiden for Styris as Rafique sees off the last four balls of the over, nearly getting and edge to the 'keeper off the last one. Alas, it just misses the bat. BOnd from the one end and Styris on the other, one feels sorry for the batting side. And wow is the run-rate slow. There's a gut in the crowd who is supporting a Kiwi g-string - talk about patriotic!
Bangladesh 129/7 (RR: 3.30): Mortaza 1* (11), Rafique 0* (4)
Mohammad Rafique is the latest batsman out in the middle for the floundering minnows.

M Ashraful b Styris 3 (8)
A dot ball and then an inside edge onto the stumps as Ashraful looks to late-cut Styris. It's not middled at all and that's the end of him. Second wicket of the day for Styris who continues to lead the way for the early elections for man-of-the-tournament.
Styris back into the attack.
Over 38: Mortaza fends off some fiery stuff from Bond, surviving the over... just. It's a maiden but at least the Bangladeshis did not lose another wicket.
Bangladesh 129/6 (RR: 3.39): Mortaza 1* (11), Ashraful 3* (6)
Over 37: McMillan nearly gets a return catch in his comeback over but it's just wide and goes past mid-off for a quick single. A couple of drives to cover yield no runs before the last ball of the over gets Mortaza off the mark through the on-side. It's very much just about batting out thier full 50 overs now for the Bangladehis. Bond's last over really not helping their mission to post a decent total.
Bangladesh 129/6 (RR: 3.48): Mortaza 1* (5), Ashraful 3* (6)
Craig McMillan back into the attack.
Over 36: Bangladesh 127/6 (RR: 3.52): Mortaza 0* (5), Ashraful 2* (5)
Mashrafe Mortaza is the new batsman.

M Rahim b Bond 0 (5)
Four dout balls and then this time it's the off-stump. Bond just too quick for the youngster who's nervous and stumps are rattled. Rahim walks off the field as Bangladesh fall deeper into trouble. Double wicket-maiden for the speedster!
18-year-old Mushfiqur Rahim is the new batter.
WICKET
S Hasan b Bond 25 (41)
Bond strikes first ball back as Hasan is beaten all ends up by a fast length delivery. He plays back, misses, and is clean bowled - middle stump. What a sight! Wickets totally castled.
Bond back into the attack.
Over 35: Five singles off the over from a couple of uppish strokes which won't please Bangladesh coach Dav Whatmore. Hasan batting nicely, yes, but has to, just has to start looking for some 'bigger' runs.
Bangladesh 127/4 (RR: 3.62): Hasan 25* (40), Ashraful 2* (5)
Over 34: Ashraful plays out the last three balls of the over, not yet off the mark but sure to start swinging the willow soon enough.
Bangladesh 122/4 (RR: 3.58): Hasan 22* (36), Ashraful 0* (3)
Drinks break!
Mohammad Ashraful is the new batsman out in the middle.

H Bashar run out Oram 9 (21)
They try to sneak a second off the third ball of the over afte a bit of a misfield at gully. The ball rolls down to Oram at third-man who get the ball in quickly and... it's a direct hit and Bashar is found wanting. Goodbye to the skipper and yet another stand that got going but then got cut short.
Over 33: A couple of nifty little strokes around the ground bring five runs for the Bangladeshis including a lovely paddle, well-timed through square-leg for two. One wonders if a pinch-hitter will be sent in next man in in order to up this rather pedestrian run-rate.
Bangladesh 120/3 (RR: 3.63): Hasan 21* (35), Bashar 8* (19)
Over 32: Better over for Bangladesh with four singles and the first wide of the innings from Vettori. New Zealand have been good in the field today bar the one over throw and a little spill from their 'keeper. Shane Bond and Jacob Oram still have overs in the bank and their new spells should be just around the corner.
Bangladesh 115/3 (RR: 3.59): Hasan 19* (32), Bashar 5* (16)
Over 31: Styris once again proving handy with the ball - just one run off the over. New Zealand are blessed with a plentitude of all-rounders and Styris is the one doing the job for now. Bashar and Hasan consolidating now after the loss of Ahmed but really can't do that for too long. Boundaries are needed.
Bangladesh 110/3 (RR: 3.60): Hasan 17* (29), Bashar 3* (13)
Over 30: Only two runs off the over and with 20 overs to go, the Tigers could really step on the gas a bit given the fact that they have as many as seven wickets in hand. But either Bashar or Hasan need to stick it out to the end and play the anchor role.
Bangladesh 109/3 (RR: 3.63): Hasan 17* (28), Bashar 2* (8)
Over 29: Three singles finish off the over including one which gets Bashar off the mark. Hasan now having to step up to the plate as the senior partner with the departure of Ahmed.
Bangladesh 107/3 (RR: 3.68): Hasan 16* (27), Bashar 1* (2)
Skipper Habibul Bashar is the new batter.

c sub (Gillespie) b Styris 27 (39)
How unfortunate. A single and then another partnership just gets off the ground and is then abruptly ended. Typically Ahmed - he tries to go huge over the long-on fence but falls short and substitute fielder Mark Gillespie takes the catch above his head.First wicket of the day for Styris.
Over 28: Some nice foot work sees five runs gathered at will. This partnership really doing well and what a sham if either Hasan or Ahmed were to get out now. A few boundaries need to give this innings a bit of momentum now.
Bangladesh 104/2 (RR: 3.71): Hasan 14* (25), Ahmed 27* (38)
Over 27: Good ol' innovation from Bangladesh as they pull out some strokes from unorthodox stroke-maker's textbook. A flick/paddle to fine-leg gets four and a couple of other 'laps' around the corner bare great fruit as the minnows close in on their collective ton. By the way, they have never scored more than 200 against New Zealand.
Bangladesh 99/2 (RR: 3.66): Hasan 11* (22), Ahmed 25* (35)
Over 26: Vettori races through another over - just two singles off it. Fleming looking to his slow bowlers now to do the job of keeping the run-rate down and perhaps grabbing a wicket or two. For now though, Ahmed and Hasan charge on.
Bangladesh 91/2 (RR: 3.50): Hasan 6* (20), Ahmed 24* (31)
Over 25: Styris goes for four in his opening over with a brace of twos coming off the bat of Ahmed - one stroke guided through point and the other through square-leg. Styris unable to break this stand just yet.
Bangladesh 89/2 (RR: 3.56): Hasan 5* (15), Ahmed 23* (30)
Scotty Styris into the attack.
Over 24: Ahmed and Hasan pick off Vettori for three singles around the ground using the sweep to great effect. This is a blossoming little stand from two of Bangladesh's rising stars. New Zealand could do with another wicket, perhaps Bond should return for a quick two-over burst.
Bangladesh 85/2 (RR: 3.54): Hasan 5* (15), Ahmed 19* (24)
Over 23: Ahmed dances down the track and hammers Oram past mid-off four four. That could have kicked off a very expensive over for the New Zealanders but Oram pulls in the defence and concedes just one more single off the over. His figures are brilliant today - eight overs, two for 23.
Bangladesh 82/2 (RR: 3.56): Hasan 4* (12), Ahmed 17* (21)
Over 22: Fruitful over for Bangladesh as they pick up seven runs off the over. Ahmed picks up a lofted four through mid-wicket and then flicks a single through square-leg. Hasan gets straight to the sweep shot and nabs two runs.
Bangladesh 77/2 (RR: 3.50): Hasan 4* (10), Ahmed 12* (17)
Over 21: Hasan swings an misses and McCullum 'blindly' lets a standard one through for four byes. Wow! Very unusual from the star 'keeper. Another quick single and then another leg-bye as Ahmed takes a short ball to the helmet but bags the single from the deflection for his efforts.
Bangladesh 70/2 (RR: 3.33): Hasan 2* (6), Ahmed 7* (15)
Over 20: Vettori starts off well with a hopeful shout for caught behind down the leg-side. probably trying to get the umpire to not call it a wide. A single each for Ahmed and Hasan (off the mark) make up the over. Vettori surely will get a couple of wickets today with his guile and experience.
Bangladesh 64/2 (RR: 3.20): Hasan 1* (4), Ahmed 7* (11)
Spinner Daniel Vettori into the attack to bowl the last over of the final powerplay.
Over 19: Hasan sees off the last two balls of the over with ease as he and Ahmed look to consolidate after the two-wicket flurry.
Bangladesh 62/2 (RR: 3.26): Hasan 0* (2), Ahmed 6* (7)
Saqibul Hasan is the new batter.

One run in three balls then the end of Omar's dogged knock as Oram strikes again! The opener flashes at one that was a bit to full to cut at and only manages and edge which McCullumpouches easily. The edge was slight, and he's gone. Another success for the Black Caps.
Over 18: Lucky runs early on for Ahmed as he edges Franklin for four. A single each for the new batsman and Omar make up the over. Franklin is not having the best of days, and although he is not bowling badly, it's not the good stuff we are used to. Omar needs to play the anchor role now for sure because it's only a matter of time before Ahmed starts looking to the ropes.
Bangladesh 61/1 (RR: 3.38): Omar 22* (48), Ahmed 5* (6)
Over 17: Ahmed, failing to get off the mark instantly as is the norm for this guy, sees off the last two balls of the successful over for Oram and company.
Bangladesh 55/1 (RR: 3.23): Omar 21* (46), Ahmed 0* (2)

Iqbal and Bashar continue on their merry way getting singles around the ground including a fine 'swat' of a shot past square-leg for two from Omar. Iqbal then comes down the track and it's to close to cut. He misses and McCullum whips off the bails. Third Umpire reckons Iqbal is short of his gruond and finally a wicket for New Zealand.
Over 16: Iqbal and Omar failing to rotate the strike enough but making up for it with the odd boundary here and there. Omar edges through the vacant slip area for four - pity that, where's your slippers NZ? Franklin is then picked off for a couple of singles the minnows reach 50-odd without loss. Nice stuff gents.
Bangladesh 51/0 (RR: 3.18): Omar 18* (44), Iqbal 28* (52)
Third and final powerplay taken by the Black Caps.
Over 15: A bit more aggression from Iqbal who swings one over mid-wicket for four. 'Keeper Brendon McCullum decides to stand up to the wicket and stem the 'swinging' a bit. It works as the rest of the over goes down without any further theatrics.
Bangladesh 45/0 (RR: 3.00): Omar 13* (39), Iqbal 27* (51)
Over 14: A single and a leg-bye off another tight over from Franklin. That's better from the left-hander who came in for a bit of tap in the previous over. One wonders how long it will be before birthday boy skipper Stephen Fleming will introduce a bit of spin into the equation ala Daniel Vettori.
Bangladesh 41/0 (RR: 2.92): Omar 13* (39), Iqbal 23* (45)
Over 13: Two runs off the over with a single each to the openers. What do you know! Bangldesh none down after 13 overs against the mighty Black Caps. That's a mini upset in itself. Oram bowling nicely, unluckyn to have a wicket to his name after some questionable slip-fielding from Styris earlier on.
Bangladesh 39/0 (RR: 3.00): Omar 13* (34), Iqbal 22* (44)
Over 12: Alright Iqbal has had enough of the blocking. He launches straight into the returning Franklin and gets on the back foot to drive him through the covers for four. A couple of balls later he tries some fancy footwork and manages to get an inside edge past the 'keeper - another boundary. Another exquisite back foot drvie brings him just a single thanks to some great fielding off the last ball of the over. Omar now suddenly playing second fiddle to his partner. Run-rate finally above three.
Bangladesh 37/0 (RR: 3.08): Omar 12* (33), Iqbal 21* (39)
Franklin back into the attack again.
Over 11: A wristy Iqbal gets a single to the leg-side as Oram delivers an over mixed with slower ones and varied length. A couple of swings-and-misses show a bit of intent from Bashar and Iqbal. Surely they will open up a bit soon enough.
Bangladesh28/0 (RR: 2.54): Omar 12* (33), Iqbal 12* (33)
Second poweplay will be taken by the Black Caps.
Over 10: Slowly but surely, the Bangladeshi openers are growing with confidence. They pick up three singles around the ground but fail to penetrate the in-field with a couple of well-hit strokes. New Zealand really would have fancied at least two wickets by this stage of the match.
Bangladesh 27/0 (RR: 2.70): Omar 12* (29), Iqbal 11* (31)
Over 9: Oram nearly strikes with his very first ball of the match as Iqbal pokes at one half-heartedly. Obviously it isn't middled and falls just short of Scotty Styris in the slips, he fumbles, and it scoots through for four. A couple of tentative dot balls later Iqbal scampers through for a single giving Omar a bit of the strike.
Bangladesh 24/0 (RR: 2.66): Omar 11* (26), Iqbal 9* (28)
Jacob Oram is into the attack.
Over 8: Iqbal tucks Bond behind square-leg for one and Omar sees off the rest of the over which is dotted with a hefty dose of short deliveries. Omar is up to the task and plays them out nicely, however no runs and the run-rate continues to plod along slowly. A rather circumspect start, very un-Bangldesh actually.
Bangladesh 19/0 (RR: 2.37): Omar 11* (25), Iqbal 4* (23)
Over 7: Franklin has a good thing going with those left-hand medium-pacers of his. Omar struggles with the angle and is tucked up way too often for his liking. It's a maiden over, and though wicketless, New Zealand in the driving seat early on.
Bangladesh 18/0 (RR: 2.57): Omar 11* (21), Iqbal 3* (21)
Over 6: Bond errs down the leg-side and the Bangladeshi batters nab four leg-byes. The rest of the over is pretty decent as Iqbal fends off some fiery pace. It'll be interesting to see for how long Bond bowls now in this first spell, now that Mason is out of the attack so early on. Iqbal batting really slowly here.
Bangladesh 18/0 (RR: 3.00): Omar 11* (15), Iqbal 3* (21)
Over 5: Omar is really quick to latch onto anything full and sends another rank hal-volley, this time from Fraklin, to the long-on fence. The previous five balls were goodies for the Black Caps, just one single and some nice line and length.
Bangladesh 14/0 (RR: 2.80): Omar 11* (15), Iqbal 3* (15)
James Franklin into the attack with the withdrawal of Mason.
Over 4: Another excellent over from star speedster Bond. Just a single from it - a flick to fine-leg from Iqbal. Bond could make the openers play a bit more at the moment, perhaps a couple too many deliveries are being allowed to go through to the 'keeper.
Bangladesh 9/0 (RR: 2.25): Omar 7* (13), Iqbal 2* (11)
Over 3: A rather eventful over comes to an end with a quick single to mid-on (Iqbal off the mark). Before that though, Omar hammers a rank half-volley to the ropes. Mason then pulls up injured with McMillan stepping in to replace him. McMillan's first ball is over-pitched and nailed through the covers for three. Confident start for Omar as Bangladesh look to take advantage of the field restrictions.
Bangladesh 8/0 (RR: 2.66): Omar 7* (10), Iqbal 1* (8)
Oh dear! Mason has pulled up in the middle of his run-up and is leaving the field for some treatment. Craig McMillan to complete the over.
Over 2: Bond cashes in on Iqbal's choice to play at as little as possible and kicks off with a maiden too. Bond is bowling quickly early on if he gets going the Bangladeshi top-order will be in quite a spot of bother.
Bangladesh 0/0 (RR: 0.00): Omar 0* (6), Iqbal 0* (6)
Shane Bond to share the new ball with Mason.
Over 1: Mason kicks off proceedings with a maiden as Omar starts to find his feet. He's been recalled to the team and must be looking to make big impression and cement his place for the duration of the Super Eights.
Bangladesh 0/0 (RR: 0.00): Omar 0* (6), Iqbal 0* (0)
Tamim Iqbal and Javed Omar to open the batting for Bangladesh.
Michael Mason to take the new ball for the Black Caps.
All and sundry are out on the field and we're all set for play.
New Zealand have won the toss and elected to bowl first.
