marshall hails skipper
Marshall - unbeaten half-century.
New Zealand all-rounder Hamish Marshall hailed captain Stephen Fleming after his quickfire ton inspired his side to a nine-wicket win over Bangladesh.
Fleming struck 102 not out at better than a run a ball as the Black Caps romped home after less than 30 overs to join Australia at the top of the Super Eight table.
Marshall - who scored 50 not out himself and shared a 134-run partnership with his skipper - told Sky Sports 1: "It was nice to get involved and strike a partnership with Flem and get some runs.
"It was a matter of getting a partnership together and going from there.
"We put our foot down and Flem hit a few out of the ground, which was nice."
Victorious captain Fleming insisted it was his team's bowlers, rather than his century, which won the match.
The Kiwis skittled Bangladesh for just 174 despite both Michael Mason and James Franklin being unable to finish their spells
"It was a good day again, we bowled extremely well and that was where the game was won," he told Sky Sports 1.
"It was impressive because we lost two of our main strike bowlers. The guys who have been in form have continued to be.
"It is all working really well for us."
Man-of-the-match Shane Bond, who claimed two for 15, added: "Things are going well for me and I'm in pretty good form, so the challenge is to keep it going.
"I think I'm lucky the bowling unit is doing its job generally, and that makes my job easier.
"On these sorts of wickets I need to put the ball in the right places and I'm doing that so far."
Bangladesh captain Habibul Bashar admitted his side's failure to get anywhere near a competitive total on a favourable surface in Antigua proved their downfall.
"It was a good batting track but it wasn't easy," he told Sky Sports 1. "We needed someone from the top to get runs.
"Even at 40 overs, if someone can then score you can get a decent total. It was never enough, 175."
