Notes:

The following point system will apply in the Group and Super Eight stages:

  • Win: 2
  • Tie or no result: 1
  • Loss: 0

The top two teams in each Group will proceed to the Super Eight series.

If teams finish level on points in the Group stage, positions will be decided as follows:

  • (i) The team with the most wins.
  • (ii) Highest net run rate.
  • (iii) Highest number of wickets taken per balls bowled.
  • (iv) The winner of the head-to-head match.
  • (v) In the highly unlikely event that teams cannot be separated by (i) - (iv), it will be done by drawing lots.

Each team will carry forward to the Super Eight series any points gained from the match against the other Super Eight qualifier in their Group.

Each team will then play the other six qualifiers once, making seven games in total per team to decide the Super Eight standings.

The top four teams in the Super Eight will go forward to the semi-finals (1st v 4th; 2nd v 3rd).

If teams finish level on points in the Super Eight series, positions will be decided as follows:

  • (i) The most wins against the other Super Eight qualifiers.
  • (ii) Highest net run rate against the other Super Eight qualifiers.
  • (iii) Highest number of wickets taken per balls bowled against the other Super Eight qualifiers.
  • (iv) The winner of the head-to-head match.
  • (v) In the highly unlikely event that teams cannot be separated by (i) - (iv), it will be done by drawing lots.

If a Semi-Final is tied or there is no result, the following shall apply:

  • 1. Tied match: the teams shall compete in a bowl out to determine which team progresses to the Final.
  • 2. No result: the team with the highest net run rate in the Super Eight matches shall proceed to the Final. If equal, the finalist shall be determined by the drawing of lots.

If the Final is tied or there is no result, the following shall apply:

  • 1. Tied match: the teams shall compete in a bowl out to determine which team is the winner.
  • 2. No result: the teams will be declared joint winners.
