Canada's best and most-experienced player, Davison was their leading run-scorer and wicket-taker at the 2003 World Cup, when he scored the fastest century in the competition's history, off 67 balls, against West Indies. Took 17 wickets for 137 in a first-class Intercontinental Cup clash against USA - the best return since Jim Laker in 1956 - and added 84 with the bat.

Born in Canada but raised in New Zealand, Billcliff made his first-class debut for Otago back in 1990. His Canadian birth and first-class experience made him a natural selection for the ICC Trophy in 2001 and helped Canada qualify for the 2003 World Cup. He had a good tournament making 42 on debut in the win over Bangladesh and 71 in the defeat to Kenya.
